Together Through Life
Posted on Sunday, June 28th

Bob Dylan’s most recent album, Together Through Life, is a mixed bag of past Dylan LPs. With the raspier-than-ever (sultry, even) voice charismatically charging the opening track, it continues with bouts and beats of a pissed off and lustful Dylan. Together Through Life is not nearly as enigmatic as the last few albums of this decade, and the lyrics certainly lack the Dylan-esque insight. Although they seem hurried, the entire album promises a bluesy ensemble from accordion to trumpet, but “Theme Town Radio” cuts off the short album just as it gets rocking. - Anna Matisak
