Where I Belong

These four Canton boys bring some originality to the local scene with their new album, “Where I Belong”. It’s a compilation that exudes potential for growth. The album brings a sense of the old school back to metal. The lead singer, Paul Shirer, really vibrates his vocals, alternating from low to high and raspy to intense and clear. While the album plays with the mellow, southern rock-style feel that rings similar to Down, it lacks the constant heavy patter that moves heads. These guys “belong” on a bill with bands such as Clutch, who are also a Cleveland favorite.
