When Clay’s Park opened for the season on Memorial Day weekend, they debuted a lot of new attractions. One of the most popular is their new Adventure Water Park. There is a designated Kids Adventure Zone with inflatables for them to play on, as well as slides and swinging rope monkey bars, and a rope hammock. For adults there is another inflatable slide, a log roll, and water basketball and volleyball, as well as swimming for everyone. There are also kayaks available for people to take out on to an open part of the lake.
For kids the highlight of the water park seems to be the inflatable jungle gym as part of the Kids Adventure Zone. Even if they had to wait in line for their turn to climb on it, they didn’t mind because of how much fun they have once it’s their turn. For adults the best part of the water park was the log roll. Many people said it was a lot harder than it looks to stay on the log, but even if they fell off within a few seconds it was still a blast.
In addition to all the water attractions they also offer a sand beach to play and build sandcastles on. As well as plenty of grass to lie out, relax, and get a tan. And if you get hungry or thirsty while you are out playing in the sun there is a Tiki bar which offers a full assortment of drinks and snack foods.
Clay’s Park is a great place to come for a day of fun in the water, or you can rent a campsite and stay for a few days. It is a very kid friendly water park and you can be sure that there will be something for the whole family to do.
