Ohio heroes Red Wanting Blue have something to celebrate this month. Their long in the making DVD has finally been pressed and hit the web just a few short weeks ago. Entitled “These Magnificent Miles: On the Long Road with Red Wanting Blue”, the music documentary is the latest piece in the puzzle for these Columbus natives. The film follows the band through the recording and release of their eighth album as they hope to break out of the local scene and finally sign a record deal.
“These Magnificent Miles” was directed and produced by internationally known theater producer Ken Davenport and has been described as “an honest portrayal of the struggles that musicians go through to complete as the music industry changes.” Red Wanting Blue fans will rejoice as the documentary features full-length songs performed live, never-before-seen concert footage and in-depth interviews with the band.
The film is said to be a must-see not only for Red Wanting Blue fans but music lovers, documentary enthusiasts and those who love to root for the underdog. For more information on the film and to check out the trailer, head on over to www.readwantingbluemovie.com.
