The Akron trio has a sound reminiscent of Black Sabbath. That is, if Black Sabbath was a funk band with Hendrix-style vocals. The high-school friends have been playing their funk-blues rock around Northeast Ohio since 2008 and tend to keep things light and fun-loving. It’s apparent in songs like “Spaghetti-O’s and Jell-O Shots” and “Two Tickets to the Gun Show.”
