If you’re free on Saturday and feel the need to see some absolute blues legends, then why not take the trip down to Youngstown for the Blues Fest. The City of Youngstown and Tangled Up in Blues, a blues radio show down in the area, worked together to bring two blues legends to the show, Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. Robert Cray is a blues guitarist and singer and five-time Grammy Award winner. He’s toured with Eric Clapton time and time again. And he’s a Blues Hall of Fame inductee. Cray is definitely a legend worthy of headlining the Blues Fest. Joining him on stage is Buddy Guy, another five-time Grammy Award winner. Guy’s amazing guitar skills have been an inspiration for the greats like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. He’s a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. And he’s just released a new album of original works with guest appearances from many other guitar legends. These two legends will light up the stage and give a show to remember, the stuff of legends in and of itself. The show starts at 6:30 on June 25. Tickets are $25 with general admission, and bring your own seat to this outdoor venue.
