Who doesn’t love Pez, the sugary little almost-rectangles that spit out of a plastic cartoon character’s neck when its head is snapped back? Pezamania is the world’s largest gathering of Pez-o-philes, and the place to go to find that special Pez dispenser that you’ve wanted since you were a kid. Whether it’s a comic-book character, video-game personality or political figure (who wouldn’t love to eat Pez from the neck of Obama or Reagan?), if it was turned into a Pez dispenser you’re almost sure to find it at the Holiday Inn in Independence, Ohio at this festival. The focus of the event is buying, selling and swapping sugary candy holders, but there will also be the yearly “Pezamania War,” a charity auction and festival rides.
