I am sure we all have, at sometime, wanted to do things over again. Relationships? School? Life? Well, Billy Ludwig at Thirteenth Floor is giving some of the area’s most talented artists a second chance. This Saturday, Massillon’s Thirteenth Floor will be exhibiting what Ludwig has aptly titled Evolution. Each artist has been asked to take an older piece of their artwork, which should be at least five years old, and do it over again. That is the only rule, which give artists free reign to do what they want. The clever artistic experiment is a great way for artist’s to give a second life to their treasured earlier pieces of art that may not have been given enough love the first time. Among the artist who will be participating in the event are Megan Mars, Impale Design, John Branham, Bili Kribbs, Scot Phillips, David McDowell and Michelle Nabours. Thirteenth Floor will display both pieces side by side at the event to show how the artist has evolved. Evolution is free so come on down to the Thirteenth Floor on Saturday, August 13 at 6pm and see what Northeast Ohio’s most talented artists have to offer. Thirteenth Floor is located at 28 Charles Avenue SE in Massillon.
