Ana Popovic is a blues singer out of Serbia who started her first band at the age of 19. Ever since then, she’s been touring through Europe and the US with some big names in the blues scene. This foreign blues guitarist and singer really is amazing and she shows her chops with her newest album, “Unconditional.” This album is her fifth and is truly a testament to the talent this girl has. Popovic’s vocals are just amazing. She has this raw but bright sound to her voice. She truly is a talented singer and each song shows that she’s a great blues guitarist as well. The entirety of the album, you seem to get a glimpse of Popovic’s guitar skills. But it isn’t until the vocals are dropped for the song “Slideshow” that you see that this girl really is a blues guitarist to be reckoned with. Not only does “Slideshow” show how good of guitarist she is but just how genuinely kickass her band is. Because of how well she and her band blend, it easily became one of the best tracks on the album. This lady really shows her chops on the newest album and it deserves “Unconditional” love. It’s an amazing album and she’s an amazing artist, ‘nuff said.
