North Canton, Ohio: This October the North Canton community will come together for an evening of live music, networking, and beer appreciation as the North Canton Area Chamber of Commerce presents the second annual Brews After Five event with the support and cooperation of Walsh University. Brews After Five features beers from around the world, with experts on-site to answer questions about the selections available at the event. Beer will be available in sample sizes, and attendees can purchase their favorites by the glass, can or bottle. In addition to beer, North Canton’s own Main Street Grille will be on-site with a selection of menu items available for purchase. They will be featuring their small plates as well as other menu favorites. Akron/Canton piano rock band, Dolson, will provide live music beginning at 6:30 p.m. Dolson has been hailed as one of the most promising up and coming bands in this area. Piano rock is a strong trend in the current music scene and other piano rock artists include Ben Folds, The Fray, and Coldplay. “Following the traditional Oktoberfest theme, we think an event featuring beers from across the world will be fun for our members and the entire North Canton community. The beers coupled with fantastic food from the Main Street Grille and live music will make for a wonderful fall evening,” said Chamber President, Doug Lane. Brews After Five will be held at Hoover Park on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by CKP Heating & Cooling and the Main Street Grille. Tickets are $5 each and attendees must be 21 or older. Visit the Brews After Five website at www.northcantonevents.com or call 330.499.5100 to purchase tickets.
