On Wednesday, the Broadway musical revue “Rain – A Tribute to the Beatles” will pass through Powers Auditorium. The show won a drama desk award for Best Musical Review while it was on Broadway and is now touring the country nationally. The performers reenact different stages of The Beatles’ musical career, complete with a reproduction of their iconic performance on The Ed Sullivan Show. Everyone on the planet knows the music of the Fab Four, so the show is guaranteed to be accessible. And a Broadway caliber production is sure to be more interesting than a mere cover band, so if you like The Beatles, this is a show not to miss this year. Performance begins at 7:30.
