Art Monkey Art at The Lockview! A collaborative show featuring art created by Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Art Monkeys!(the artists who attend Dr. Sketchy’s themed life-drawing events) What is an art monkey, exactly? Well, they gather at Dr. Sketchy’s, drink, play games, and draw ravishingly beautiful models for a period of three hours with the longest poses being a mere 15 minutes, and yet, they still manage to make art!! Through the month of November and into December, The Lockview in downtown Akron will be displaying some of this work for all of the world to see! So, swing by the Lockview anytime between October 29th and December 9th and give it a look-see! Also, on Saturday October 29th Dr. Sketchy and some of the Art Monkeys will be drinkin’ and dining at the Lockview to bask in the glory of this display, so come on out and hang with them!
