Contemporary art is alive and well in Akron, Ohio. The ‘Paper or Plastic’ exhibition opened to a record-breaking crowd of over 500 gallery visitors on Friday November 18, 2011 at The Box Gallery. The exhibition has over 80 works of art & customized munny toys with over 40 incredible artists from northeast Ohio and beyond. Here are just a few of the works on display by Jeff Lamm, Erin Mulligan, Andrew Shondrick, Bonnie Stipe, David Spasic, Joshua Davis, Matt Miller, Nathan Mayfield, and Rob Lehr. The show is on display from 12pm-5pm on Fridays & Saturdays and runs through December 31 with special extended hours for Art Walk events.
