December 17 – Cleveland – The Winchester Music Hall As the east coast’s premier R.E.M. tribute act, The Reckoning effectively recreate the sonic experience of live R.E.M. shows from every era of R.E.M.’s rich history. This may be the only way to get the R.E.M. live concert experience since they are now broken up! This being said however, The Reckoning concentrates on 45 hits and deep cuts, mainly from the earlier, classic period when R.E.M. were the kings of college rock. Though the members all have original outlets of expression, these seasoned musicians regard their faithful R.E.M. recreation as a way of giving back to the music that served as a soundtrack to their lives.
