December 31 – Cleveland – Grog Shop Join The Coventry Kids at the Grog Shop on New Year’s Eve and kick-off 2012 (or kick-out 2011) with a dance party full of Cleveland’s best and a free champagne toast. DJ Self Help and Nathan Sloan will be headlining the event. DJ Self Help is energized following the release of “This Is An Emergency,” his first EP, and Nathan Sloan will be ready to reproduce the fantastic results from last year. Joining them onstage will be DJ Lo Bear (DJ for the Muamin Collective), Rhyme x Reason, Freeze-Tag and Mr. Indubitably. The night will be full of dance, hip-hop and electronic sounds that should keep you moving well past the champagne toast at midnight. Of course, the staff at the Grog Shop is making sure the bar is well-stocked, with plenty of the beer they know you love – that’s why they carry it. Cocktail connoisseurs can rest assured that the liquor will be plentiful as well. The Coventry Kids hosted one of Cleveland’s most successful New Year’s Eve parties last year, which included surprise appearances by some local artists not on the bill, and we’re sure this year won’t be any different. Tickets are $8 in advance or $12 at the door.
