In addition, Canton Film Fest, in conjunction with the Palace Theatre will do a “see yourself in the movies” activity on the Arena stage. Food will be available for purchase.
As part of ArtSplash – a SmARTS focus will involve take home kits to link the learning of the day with activities at home. The SmARTS program of ArtsinStark, integrates arts and education and is sponsored by American Electric Power, Bagnoli Family, Dominion, The Herbert W. Hoover Foundation, The Huntington National Bank, Kenan Advantage Group, and JP Morgan Chase Foundation.
“This year ArtSplash will be especially significant as March 3 publicly kicks off our 11-week annual arts campaign,” said Judi Christy, marketing director at ArtsinStark. “The support we gain from area companies like Timken and Diebold, who volunteer at this event, along with the active participation of so many families, really emphasizes what we’re all about – raising funds and awareness for kids, jobs and our communities.”
