Tammy Johnson, president of the Canton Cabaret board of directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaime Stabile as the Cabaret’s new artistic director. Stabile will
be writing and directing the Cabaret musicals, as well as singing in many of them. The Cabaret’s former artistic director, Lois DiGiacomo-Jacobson, will become the Cabaret’s full-time promotional director.

The Cabaret’s former artistic director, Lois DiGiacomo-Jacobson, will become the Cabaret’s full-time promotional director.Her tasks will include increasing tour bus scheduling at the Cabaret’s home base, Tozzi’s on 12th, and scheduling performances throughout the area.
“When the opportunity to come and work with Canton Cabaret as the artistic director was brought to me, I instantly said yes!” Stabile stated. “Lois DiGiacomo-Jacobson has done a lot to get Canton Cabaret Dinner Theatre’s name out there. Now, as is with every organization, each Artistic Director brings his/her own ideas. I am thrilled to be adding mine to the already great things happening at Canton Cabaret Dinner Theatre,” he said. “Expect great things to come from us!” Stabile exclaimed.
Proceeds from the Canton Cabaret Dinner Theatre, which was established in 2007 through funding from an Arts in Stark grant, benefits their parent company, the Rainbow Repertory Company that provides arts programs for local schools.
