Massillon’s Thirteenth Floor on the Move

Massillon’s most creepily cool art gallery will be moving to a new location soon. On Saturday, April 28, you can check out Thirteenth Floor’s new digs on Erie Street at the grand reopening soiree. This week, fans of the gallery’s macabre style and locally mined selections will be stopping by the old storefront (located at 28 Charles Street) for a moving sale, scheduled to run March 28 through 30. Original artwork and prints, posters, shirts, sculptures, masks — even more utilitarian items like store fixtures and tables will be up for grabs. Following the sale, the gallery, run by musician Billy Ludwig, will relocate to its new location next door to Art Bomb Tattoo (32 Erie Street). Renovations will occupy April, with the doors opening for the first time on April 28. If you can’t wait another month to add to your collection of local art, ArtisAlive will be hosting an art auction and benefit on April 13 and 14. Thirteenth Floor is currently accepting donations of artwork from local artists for the event, the proceeds of which will go to the Bonnie Jean Ludwig Memorial Fund. Those interested in donating can email the gallery at info@13thfloorgallery.com for more details.
