Derf Backderf, award-winning cartoonist and author of one of the most highly praised graphic novels in years (MY FRIEND DAHMER) will be speaking at the Akron Main Library as part of the Library’s Main Event Series. The program is Weds, April 18, 2012, at 7pm. It is free and open to the public. Derf’s talk will include a multimedia presentation, featuring his artwork and rare photos. Derf was a classmate and friend of Jeffrey Dahmer while at Revere High School.
