The Screw Factory Artist Studios are located within the Lake Erie Building in Lakewood, Ohio. This building was originally built as The Templar Motor Car Factory. Artist
studios were originally built on the second floor over fifteen years ago however in the past four years more studios were constructed bringing the artist count to over thirty. It’s a diverse building both in regards to its artists and its repurposed space.
The open studio exhibitions are held three times throughout the year. Artists open their spaces to exhibit and sell work. This event is free and open to the public. The artists in the building represent a broad range of media including (but not limited to) glass, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, mixed media, painting and printmaking.
The Templar Motors Car Factory Display will be open as well. Lakewood, Ohio’s only Automobile Mfg. from 1917-24, The Templar Motors Car Factory Display is located on the 3rd Floor of the Original Templar Motors Car Factory Building.
The (8 Car)-Templar Motors Car Factory Display represents the finest collection of historic Templar Motors Cars in the world, with less than (40) cars remaining today of the original (6500) cars produced!
