About the Featured Artist A landscape designer by trade, Russ Hench, of Canton, brings his many talents to the indoors through artwork in a variety of media. Pencil, pen and ink, painting, collageassemblage and metal repoussé, a French technique dating from the mid-1800s wherein a design or drawing is inscribedin metal, are but some of his media of choice. Hench’s eye for design, color and balance is evident in all of his work, as well as a tasteful sense of eclecticism in more than a few pieces. Hench’s framed works range in size from 12 inches by 12 inches repoussé sun faces to grand mixed media canvases more than a yard in either direction which would readily become the focal point of any space. About the Featured Musician Canton-native Dean Hansen began perfecting his musical skills playing guitar, singing and writing lyrics at an early age in school and then in numerous Ohio bands.
