It’s hard to know where to start when talking about someone like Joseph Arthur. He’s best known as a musician, thanks to his solo work and the supergroup Fistful of Mercy, but he’s much more than that — including an accomplished songwriter, painter and designer. Arthur was born in Akron, where he lived until he was 18.
