“Spinal Tap” is a movie that gets thrown around more than its fair share when it comes to band biographies, documentaries and the like. “At The End Of The Day, The Story of the Blaze Bayley Band,” is essentially the story of “Spinal Tap” on crack. If “Spinal Tap” went to 11, then the story of Blaze Bayley and the Blaze Bayley Band goes to 1,000. Bayley is widely known as the ex-vocalist of Iron Maiden who filled in Bruce Dickinson’s shoes when Dickinson basically started mailing things in the early 90s and left the band for dead to pursue solo work. Written off in the states by many as an AC/DC clone in the early 80s, Scandinavia (there is DEFINITELY something in the water there) and Krokus strike again with “Hoodoo.” Yeah, a lot of it does sound like AC/DC. It’s certainly not because he doesn’t have the voice. It’s not because he doesn’t have the ability or the talent or legions of die hard followers. Blaze Bayley probably shouldn’t still be going because the life he’s lived in the hard rock/heavy metal world and ...

...And it's NOT with more cowbell. The Welsh power-metal quartet, Bullet for my Valentine will be gearing up for their Cleveland appearance. This Saturday at Tower City Amphitheater, Bullet for my Valentine and openers, Escape the Fate, Black Tide and Drive A will help you with your mosh pitting skills. The doors are at 6:30 pm, Tower City Amphitheater. The venue is outdoors, the weather is supposed to be 72 and sunny. (Weather report is because I like you. Yeah…you.) Bullet’s European heaviness isn’t supposed to do well in America, however, their latest album “Fever” debuted ...

By Charisma Charisma here with the guys from The Motherland United Kingdom, Circle of One. The band is made up of four crazy guys. Two of which share the mic and lead guitar, Julian and Richie, followed up by my new heartthrob SUV on bass and Mikey on drums. Charisma: How’s it going guys? SUV: Fucking shit hot Bute, it’ll be even better when we get our Welsh backsides out to the good old US. Charisma: You are known for your melodious and fierce tunes. Do you consider yourselves a rock and roll band? And who are your influences? Jul: Indeed we do consider ourselves a rock and...
