Go Skateboarding Day is a national event, celebrated in NYC, LA, and everywhere in-between by every type of skateboarder. The COLLECTIVE skate/art /snow crew started the day warming up at the Wadsworth skatepark. As they made their way through downtown Akron they came across different groups of skateboarders, even a group of longboarders out bombing hills in the afternoon heat. Then it was on to the Akron park for a little session amongst the ongoing festivities there. There is no doubt the 40s were a great band. However that great band is no longer. People are sad. In fact the entire city of Canton has been going downhill ever since the farewell show last week.
