Bethesda is not the kind of band that garners an easy label. Hailing from Kent (in spite of the name), the recording artists embody a sound unlike other artists in the Northeast Ohio music scene. Their latest EP, “Dreamtiger & Other Tails,” is a refreshing aural experience in an otherwise lackluster year of releases thus far. Kent-based band Araby consists of singer-guitarist Bailey Hugh Webster, drummer Zach Loudin and bassist Charlie Loudin.Before Araby, Webster and Zach previously played together as early teenagers, primarily working on two-piece music.“We played a lot of The White Stripes and The Black Keys just for fun,” Webster said. “We were in a two-piece band, so we wanted to play two-piece stuff.”The musicians also played with Charlie’s earlier band, Elephant Bitch, which they described as experimental-noise.
