Tammy Johnson, president of the Canton Cabaret board of directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaime Stabile as the Cabaret’s new artistic director. Stabile will be writing and directing the Cabaret musicals, as well as singing in many of them. Indigo Ink Press, Inc., a Canton-based nonprofit literary publisher, has announced that it will make a $500 donation to ArtsinStark’s SmArts Program this month. The SmArts program is an educational initiative designed to bring the arts into our schools to create smARTer kids. This donation is based upon sales to date of Indigo Ink’s first book, Stark ARThology, the first book dedicated to the artists of Stark County, Ohio.
