Don Cornelius, the silky smooth voiced creator of the hit television show "Soul Train", was found dead in his home yesterday of an apparent suicide. Authorities responded to a shooting at 4am at Cornelius' house on Muholland drive in Los Angeles. When they arrived they found Corenlius dead with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. "Soul Train" was one of the longest syndicated shows in television history. The show aired from 1971 until 2006. It was a major launching point for many RnB, soul and hip hop artists.
