Tammy Johnson, president of the Canton Cabaret board of directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaime Stabile as the Cabaret’s new artistic director. Stabile will be writing and directing the Cabaret musicals, as well as singing in many of them. This year marks the 25th-anniversary of Heavy Metal Parking Lot, a documentary hailed by rock and film cognoscenti as one of the greatest rock documentaries of all time.
