I like it when you call me Big Daddy
Ten years of Rapture later...
by John Polks
Ten years of unconsciousness, ten years of Rapture's evolution, ten years of Big Daddys and Little Sisters bonding in protection.
This is BioShock 2. One of the most anticipated games of 2010.
The short story goes like this: Dr. Sofia Lamb (you know all villains are doctors) is not happy about the presence of Subject Delta, the Big Daddy (see above) she forced to commit suicide last game. Now awake and seeking ADAM slugs (unstable stem cells, stuff that makes you crazy) with the help of Little Sisters (kids that are harvest for stem cells), Delta will make his way through the underwater world of Rapture with his Bouncer's Drill to stop Dr. Lamb at all expense. That's right, you're playing as Big Daddy instead of fighting him this time around.
Rapture's new inhabitants include Big Sisters, Rumblers and Brute Splicers...Oh Baby! With a new weapon, the Spear Gun, Delta can easily impale a Splicer, pin them to a wall and retrieve his bloody spear. Other fun new toys include the fully upgradeable and totally bad ass Rivet Run.
The game opens with radio communication from Bridgette Tenenbaum, a scientist who now regrets her former Big Daddy experiments. With Delta being the first successful Big Daddy experiment of four and the only one with free will, she must help him reach herself and his Little Sister. Bridgette is able to further help him with the camera on his helmet, which she can interface with.
Get engaged again with the follow up to one of the most tense, dark and creepy games ever played. There is a new multiplayer system added to the game so now you can enjoy some frantic online action. With a new arsenal of weapons, a whole new story line and a few new characters, BioShock 2 is sure to keep winning awards.
