Mushroomhead stop by Carriage House for an up close & personal show
A powerhouse weekend you don't want to miss
Mike Ritchie has big plans. And they started over a year ago. The new owner of the Carriage House in Louisville is giving a home to national touring bands as well as a few good locals worthy of playing the twenty-five year old stage. The plan takes one step further the last weekend in February when he will be bringing in NEO's favorite heavy metal hitters, Mushroomhead. The show promises an up close and personal version of their act.
So many people are itching to see shows like this and more in Canton. We have the art. We have the great bands. We could use a brewery. We need our own clothing shop. And we need a live music venue worthy of carrying huge acts. The Carriage House is filling the void of the latest.
Remember Creekfest '09? Probably not, because it never actually happened. Mushroomhead, along with a few other national touring acts, were supposed to headline the event, which would have been monumental for our area. Things were shaky from the start and nobody could find out who was ultimately responsible for putting on the show. Buzzbin tried to help. Stage Live promotions tried to help. But no one was listening. Nobody could even really find a ticket either, which was probably the biggest hang up. Local promoters soon realized that this festival was doomed and Mushroomhead became worried about letting down their Canton fans. Creekfest was dead in the water.
So Tim DeBos of Stage Live and JC of Firestorm Entertainment immediately decided to bring Mushroomhead down to Canton, for real this time, on February 27th. This time you'll easily find tickets and the band promises an intimate show. Usually they're playing for thousands of people but the Carriage House can only sell about 500 tickets to fill capacity. And according to Mike Ritchie presale tickets are on fire.
